Is a woman in various stages of undress indicative of my work by now? I sure hope so. I feel like I’ve captured this with enough of my models. We moved from my bedroom into what I lovingly refer to as the Wonder Room in my home for these photos. I thought about just including these in the same post as the bedroom set but well, they seem to feel quite different simply because of the setting.

My last shoot with Amanda (my oldest friend and one of my very first models nearly 20 years ago now) was in 2016 in Santa Fe. I saw you on the moon, dancing in between the rocks, floating in the light. You were something, some remnant from a story my great great grandmother had shared with her husband the night he said he loved her, the night they each realized how much they had to lose. So many beautiful and honest secrets dissembled as fable. I think it was celtic or norse or slavic.
