Back in November my friend and cousin’s boyfriend, Dan, asked me to shoot some classy portraits that he could use for future books and training materials he planned to write/create. I love this guy, so I was happy to oblige. Plus, drummer portraits! Something new—a drumming Dan Dossey— to add to my dossier (eh?!). I thought some old alleys in the bustling metropolis of Okmulgee, OK would serve as an excellent backdrop, and it did not disappoint. Although, next time, we’ll get started a little earlier as we ran out of light shortly after this shoot began. Still though, a success!
Oh, and of course I snuck in a few cute portraits of him and that adorable chick of his because why not?
